Based in Brussels, the office embraces an approach free from preconceived certainties: the site, programme, uses and constraints become the raw materials for an architecture that seeks its own response each time. This critical and committed position runs through projects at multiple scales, from housing to public facilities, as well as public space, furniture and scenography.

This “architecture of situation” allows Matador to go beyond a strictly programmatic response, exploring what each context can offer and reveal.
