Taktyk presents Guardians of Water in Zurich and Paris

The Brussels-based landscape architecture office Taktyk is embarking on a series of international presentations of its publication Guardians of Water – Designing Landscapes of Flow: A Global Perspective.

Three events in Zurich and Paris will provide opportunities to share the ideas explored in this publication, which examines the relationships between water, landscape and contemporary design approaches.

Rethinking landscape through water

With Guardians of Water, Taktyk explores how water shapes territories and invites us to rethink approaches to landscape design. The publication reflects on the role of landscape architects in responding to environmental transformations, bringing together different scales of intervention, disciplines and forms of knowledge.

This approach considers water not only as a resource to be managed, but also as a defining element of landscapes, ecosystems and human activities.
