White Paper on the architectural archives in the FWB

The architectural archives are indispensable. They document the discipline; they participate in its understanding, knowledge and recognition, and in the necessary updating of its practices. They define the foundation of a shared architectural culture.

 

Following up the conference “The architectural archives in the French Community: what policy?”, the Livre blanc des archives de l'architecture puts together its documents and extracts 30 recommendations from the conference for a public policy on the architectural archives in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, at the shared initiative of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Cultural Heritage Department and Architecture Section) and the La Cambre Horta Faculty of Architecture of the Free University of Brussels.
