BAUKUNST: IN A WAY, IT IS ALSO MORE PRIMITIVE

© Baukunst In an interview with Accattone, Baukunst looks back on the four solo exhibitions it presented in Brussels, Paris, Lisbon and Berlin between 2019 and 2023, and explains the singular logic of its projects, which intertwine architecture, philosophy, representation and technology.
Baukunst is a Brussels-based architecture office founded by Adrien Verschuere.
Combining art and technology, and bringing different forms of knowledge into dialogue and interaction, Baukunst advocates an architectural thinking grounded in the recognition of antecedents as constitutive elements in the development of its proposals. The office explores architecture as both a means of thinking construction (BAU) and of constructing modes of thought (KUNST).
Based on a conversation between Accattone (Sophie Dars, Carlo Menon) and Baukunst (Adrien Verschuere, Paul Hensgen).
