LAUNCH OF THE NEW EUROPAN 16 EDITION: LIVING CITIES. FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE PROPOSED SITES ARE LOCATED IN THE THREE REGIONS OF BELGIUM

Since the Europan 3 session (1995-1996), Belgium has been participating in the Europan dynamic, but with sites located only in the Walloon Region.

Since January 2020, a new team has been put in place (Olivier Bastin, Benoit Moritz, Maarten Van Acker, Sedaile Mejias), which has had the will to widen Europan's field of intervention to the whole Belgian territory.

Three sites are thus proposed, in collaboration with local institutions in charge of urban development: a former military site in Namur, the CIVA in the rue de l'Ermitage in Brussels and a former industrial site in Aalst.
