Welcoming Spanish architects in FWB - Cities Connection Project
© J. Van Belle In order to establish new connections, Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures will welcome a delegation of Catalan architects eager to discover in person the achievements of the architects of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation from 25th to 27th October. This visit is part of the presentation of the exhibition Import WB _Export BCN. Re-activate the city at the Col-legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC) in Tarragona. The exhibition and the two conferences organized will have given them a first overview of the projects designed in FWB.
This architects’ trip is part of the Cities Connection Project cycle curated by Nicola Regusci and Xavier Bustos. The objective is to create a network of cultural connections between cities and regions sharing an important architectural tradition, while highlighting contemporary architecture and urban planning. For this edition, Wallonia - Brussels and Catalonia are meeting around the reuse of existing spaces, mixed use and the reconstruction of the city.
A programme of visits is organised to allow Catalan architects to meet their counterparts and visit some of the projects on display.
