Public Space 4 Her on Radio Fractale: Rethinking Public Space Through a Gender Lens

As part of their collaboration to promote the international dissemination of architectural practices from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures and the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles in Paris present a new episode of Radio Fractale dedicated to the project Public Space 4 Her.

Through this conversation, the project addresses key issues shaping the design and use of public space today: inclusion, representation, safety, accessibility and collective appropriation. Taking women's lived experiences of the city as its starting point, Public Space 4 Her examines the mechanisms that shape our everyday environments and proposes avenues for imagining more equitable and welcoming public spaces.

By giving a voice to practitioners and actors working in the field, the interview contributes to ongoing discussions about the contemporary transformation of public space and the role that architectural and cultural practices can play in fostering more inclusive and sustainable living environments.
