Video : Brunfaut Tower by D. Dethier and A229
WBA is continuing its collaboration with Jonathan Ortegat - an architectural video-maker and photo6grapher - to promote the architecture of Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures internationally. The aim of the video capsules produced is to showcase contemporary achievements built by FWB architects.
This time, we invite you to discover the Brunfaut Tower by Daniel Dethier and A229.
Renovation of the Brunfaut tower and its 97 apartments, creation of common spaces including a roof terrace.
The project offers a complete and qualitative urban response: densification, treatment of the skyline, re-establishment of the tower as an urban signal and requalification of public spaces. The architectural concept is distinguished by the quality of the housing, the diversity of typologies and the organization of community spaces. Technical added value is achieved by maintaining the existing structure and adding an ingenious constructive system, as well as by choosing materials based on their life cycle.
To produce this video, Jonathan Ortegat called on a team comprising Armelle Fouat as camera assistant, Xavier Vincké for editing, Loup Mormont for music, Jean Forest for graphics, Jeanne Debarsy for mixing and Lucien Keller for color grading.
