WBArchitectures and Room Diseño: focus on architecture from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation
Special feature in the October issue.

© Room Diseño As part of an editorial partnership with the Spanish magazine ROOM Diseño, a special feature dedicated to the architecture of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels will be published in the October issue. The dossier highlights the contemporary practices of seven offices: AgwA, A229, MAMOUT, Quentin Gérard, Skope, Label, LRA, Specimen, and Traumnovelle.
Conference in Madrid to mark the launch of the publication
To mark the launch of this publication, a public conference and debate will take place on 29 October at 7 p.m. at ROOM’s headquarters (C/ Olivar 8, 28012 Madrid). Three offices will present their approach and recent projects: A229, MAMOUT and Quentin Gérard.
The discussion will be moderated by journalist Félix Zerdan, who visited the Federation Wallonia-Brussels last April to meet the seven featured offices and gain deeper insight into their architectural approaches.
A professional dialogue on the european stage
This partnership offers architects the opportunity to explore how practices from the Federation Wallonia-Brussels resonate within the wider debates of contemporary European architecture. The projects span a diversity of scales, with a strong attention to urban and social contexts, and a spirit of constructive experimentation — themes that will be at the heart of the exchanges in Madrid.
Through this collaboration with ROOM Diseño, WBA pursues its mission to enhance the international visibility of francophone Belgian architecture and foster peer-to-peer dialogue across Europe.
