The building is located in the hyper-center of Liege, in front of a square overlooking the Meuse. It presents a break of scale with the neighboring buildings by its lower height. The buildings of the university in front are rez +6 and several apartment buildings (rez +10) emerge in the background. The background from the road is chaotic, composed of backs of buildings of varying heights, without expressive coherence. The project is aligned in height with the skyline of the built front of the street. and takes up the alignments of the neighboring buildings. It consists of two levels, respects the neighboring templates.is positioned back from the facade, behind the existing stairwell. The perception of the project from the road is minimized. The project improves the existing skyline and tends towards a homogeneity of the building front. The project proposes an answer in adequacy with the existing building. It contributes to a harmonious urbanization, concerned with respecting the structural parameters of the place. Winner of the Walloon Architecture Grand Prize 2021
