- About
The Parc Pierre Paulus is a beautiful area with valuable landscape and architectural heritage qualities, as well as ecological and, above all, social qualities. Through the suggested interventions, the project seeks to reveal these qualities, which are sometimes hidden or forgotten, and to enhance the site's user-freidnly and ecological potential:
- The potential for user-friendliness has been enhanced by improving a series of connections between the different areas of the site: new visual, physical, playful or symbolic connections, access for active mobility, connections between indoors and outdoors, connections between users, etc.
- The site's ecological potential has been enhanced by research into the plant network, with the aim of maximizing biodiversity, controlling management and enhancing the perception of the site, its topography and its specific historical characteristics.
- The building is also sustainable, through the use of materials that are re-used (on-site elements, etc.), anticipating maintenance (dismantlability, etc.) and introducing new bio-sourced materials (rammed earth, wood, etc.).
