Archishorts Awards : Canada
We are delighted to announce that two episodes of the mini-series on contemporary Belgian architecture commissioned by Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures to Jonathan Ortegat and his team have been awarded by the ArchiShorts jury.
To produce these videos, Jonathan Ortegat was surrounded by a team composed of Jeanne Debarsy for the sound, Loup Mormont for the music, Jean Forest for the graphics and Lucien Keller for the colorimetry.
The film about the Cime conductive (a secondary school for young people with a type 4 disability) designed by the Brussels office A229 has been selected for an ArchiShorts Award in the Global Pro category. The film will be screened on the big screen at the Winnipeg Cinematheque on Saturday 29 April (noon) during the annual ArchiShorts screening - 19 award-winning films from 10 different countries.
The Jury also decided to give an honourable mention to the film dedicated to the Trinkhall, the museum in Liège designed by Béguin-Massart office.
The ArchiShorts competition is part of the annual Winnipeg Architecture and Design Film Festival, now in its 12th year, which will feature 21 films over five days from 26 to 30 April. Among them, the presentation of La vie en Kit by Elodie Degavre is also noteworthy.
