Transformation and renovation of a single-family house in Uccle.
- About
The complete transformation of this 19th-century Brussels townhouse presented an opportunity to rethink its traditional typology.
In the absence of remarkable historical interior elements, we chose to reinterpret the typical spatial organization of Brussels terraced houses. The main challenge was to bring light and fluidity into these traditionally compartmentalized and dark spaces, particularly in the central rooms far from the facades.
