After several stops across Europe, the Cities Connection Project 07 – Architecture in Transition exhibition continues its tour and will be presented at INSA Strasbourg from 1 to 16 October 2026.

To mark the opening on 1 October, a conference will bring together several architects from the territories represented in the exhibition. The Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles will be represented by VVV architecture urbanisme.

About

Developed as a bridge between European cities and contemporary architecture, Cities Connection Project (CCP) has been fostering exchanges between architects, cultural stakeholders, public authorities and universities for several years.

This new stop will bring together architects, students and professionals to explore the transformations currently reshaping European cities and territories. Beyond the exhibition itself, each stop on the tour provides an opportunity to compare practices, forge new professional connections and encourage the circulation of ideas across different European contexts.

Four territories facing contemporary transformations

Architecture in Transition brings together a selection of recent projects from the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Catalonia, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Grand Est region.

Housing, schools, cultural facilities, public spaces and landscapes: through a diversity of programmes and scales, the exhibition brings into dialogue the responses developed by architects to contemporary environmental, social and urban transformations.

This comparative perspective reveals how shared challenges give rise to different responses depending on each territory, its resources, uses and architectural culture.

Further details on the programme will be announced soon.
