This project involves the renovation of a typical Brussels townhouse, characterized by its distinctive proportions in width, depth, and height. The goal was to adapt the space to modern living while preserving its original charm.
Vertical connections within the house are reestablished by opening the stairwell to a double-height space, while previously enclosed areas are now opened to create a smoother flow throughout the home.
The design shifts the focus of the home toward the lush garden, allowing the living spaces to connect with the surrounding green landscape.
