About

Manufakture is built at the heart of the emblematic slaughterhouse site of Anderlecht (Brussels). The simple volume constitutes a set of organized layers that distribute very diverse functions: workshops on the ground floor, an above-ground carpark, and a public swimming pool on the attic.

The project epitomizes the research of a strict economy of means; large areas of uses are made possible through a very rational structure, and the neutrality of the composing elements enables a total reversibility of the functions.
