WBA is partnering with the Spanish media outlet Tectónica to highlight the architecture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation

As part of its mission to promote the architecture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation internationally, Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures regularly partners with leading media outlets to strengthen the visibility of French-speaking Belgian architects abroad.

This year, an editorial partnership with the Spanish architecture magazine Tectónica has resulted in a series of articles dedicated to key architectural events involving the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Spain.

Beyond announcing upcoming events, Tectónica has published several in-depth features on the presence of Wallonia-Brussels in Barcelona and on the work of its architects. Together, these articles place WBA's programme in a broader context while highlighting the architectural ideas and approaches embodied by the featured projects.

Cities Connection Project – 15 Years of Comparative Architecture

The first article is dedicated to the exhibition Cities Connection Project – 15 Years of Comparative Architecture. It examines the exhibition's scenography, thematic organisation and role as a platform for dialogue between European architects, while highlighting WBA's contribution to its development and international outreach.

A second article presents WBA's programme in Barcelona as part of the UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture 2026.
