- BAUKUNST founded in 2008 in Brussels, respond, in the field of its activities in Belgium and abroad, specifically to the requirements formulated by public and private actors with regard to architecture. Being a synthesis between the capacity to build and design, the firm postulate for an architectural thinking driven out by recognition of antecedents, as a main element to conceive proposals.[...]
Adrien Verschuere studied Architecture at ISA St-Luc, Tournai, Belgium and at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. Diploma with Prof. E. Zenghelis in 1999. He was a design architect in the office of Herzog & de Meuron, Basel between 2000-2003 and collaborated with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture - Rem Koolhaas, Rotterdam until 2001.
Adrien Verschuere is the co-founder of the architecture firm Made in, Geneva, Switzerland, prize winner of the Swiss Federal Art & Architecture Award in 2006. From 2003 until 2007, he has taught at the EPFL, Switzerland. In 2008, he established the architectural office Baukunst in Brussels. Adrien Verschuere is a studio tutor, Master degree, at the Université Catholique de Louvain.
