Kots Anderlecht

About: The project is located in the university district of Anderlecht, near the South Station (Gare du Midi).

It consists of a building with 120 student housing units, including living areas, study spaces, and a concierge service.
The volumes are compact and clad in brown/yellow brick, sometimes perforated around communal and circulation areas. These mashrabiya-style openings subtly reveal the building’s activity at night without fully exposing it.

The base and the roof are finished with vertical steel slat cladding. A shared landscaped garden with a vegetable patch has been created in the interior courtyard.

Photovoltaic panels on the roof ensure high energy performance. In the basement, technical and service areas, including a laundry room, support the building’s functionality, along with car and bicycle parking.
