- Project
Namur Ryckmans
- Architect
Frederic Haesevoets
- Programme
Conversion of the former Salzinnes swimming pool in Namur into 32 apartments, 50 aparthotels, and 75 student housing units.
- About
This red brick building from 1957, its large vertical openings and its façade adorned with bas-reliefs make it a distinctive structure, adding value to the landscape along the banks of the Sambre.
The project is primarily heritage-focused, aiming to preserve and restore the existing structure and façades as much as possible. As such, the intervention will have a very limited impact on the urban landscape.
