Applications open for 2024 edition of NEB Prizes
The Commission is now accepting applications for the 2024 New European Bauhaus (NEB) Prizes.
Over the past editions, they have received more than 4,500 applications in total. This year, the NEB Prizes will be awarded to20 innovative projects and concepts that showcase sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusiveness. For the first time, they are also accepting applications from Ukrainein addition to EU Member States and the Western Balkans.
The 'Special Recognition to Ukraine’s Reconstruction and Recovery Effort' prizes will recognise projects and concepts contributing to Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction in line with the New European Bauhaus values. Anothernew feature this year is a focus on projects and conceptsfrom EU’s regions facing socio-economic issues or challenges in the twin digital and green transition.
The 2024 Prizes will be granted to20 winners who will receive awards of up to €30,000, along with a communications package that will assist them in further developing and promoting their projects and ideas. The winners will be announced during the New European Bauhaus Festival, which will take place in Brussels from 17 to 21 April.
How to apply?
Applications are open until 10 November 2023 at 19:00 CET. Applicants of all nationalities and backgrounds are eligible if their concepts and projects are implemented in the EU, the Western Balkans or Ukraine. The applications should be submitted through the official New European Bauhaus Prizes platform.
