Open Call: Buildings are not Enough - Tbilisi

The first edition of Tbilisi Architecture Biennial is announcing a contest for public installation projects in the frame of first Biennial event Buildings are not enough.

Various buildings and public spaces in Gldani district are planned to be the center of the dialogue about architectural and urban topics. The Biennial will include a symposium, exhibitions, interventions in Gldani public spaces, in collaborations with the local community, international architecture and urban planning experts, artists and scientists.

The call is open to all interested artists (groups or individuals) working in any media. Those willing to participate must create original, functionally integrated installation that will be exhibited for a month in one of the proposed locations in Gldani, Tbilisi. Three winning projects will be announced during the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial, in the end of October, 2018.

The authors of the winner projects will receive requested funding for the production and placement of the installations and will be rewarded a honorarium.
