Triumph Pavilion 2016: Energy Pavilion
© WBA The brief is to design a temporary, freestanding, transportable and contemporary showcase Pavilion to be installed in the Museum Gardens. The theme for the 2016 Triumph Pavilion is "Energy", hence the Pavilion will be entitled "Energy Pavilion".
It is a theme that invites participants to create a unique space representing the author’s visual interpretation of energy through form, movement, thoughts, imagery or sensations generated by the Pavilion.The Pavilion should provide a unique and inspirational space where visiting architects, designers, families or general public can stand, seat around to admire, share discussions about design or simply relax in the unique setting of the Gardens.The architect or design team to be granted the honour of designing the 2016 Triumph Pavilion will be selected through a deliberation process by an internal selection panel. The winning design proposal will be one that is perceived to most satisfy the brief and is befitting of the Museum Gardens.
